Was watching 1992 outdoor motocross season review, and since it ran within the supercross series it got me thinking.
Since our sport is unique and we have Outdoor and Indoor racing, Why has a Master Championship Title never been tried?
Simply combine all the points between supercross and motocross etc for a Master Title.
Keep the supercross titles and motocross titles as well but have the big dog title.

And as stemme12 put forward, there's 2 very separate series. And one, SX, seems to never acknowledge that the other, MX, exists.

Would be cool if they did it with just AMA SX and MX for an overall Champion. Just for fun, let's see who would've won the last few years.
2018 - Marvin Musqin
SX- 347 - 2nd
MX - 511 - 2nd
Total - 858
2019 - Eli Tomac
SX - 361 - 2nd
MX - 521 - Champ
Total - 882
2020 - Eli Tomac
SX - 384 - Champ
MX - 321 - 3rd
Total - 705
