That bike is not even remotely close to some of the truly horrible bikes of the past.

Probably my 1980 KX 125. The suspension wasn't bad but it couldn't get out of it's own way. Slow even by 125 standards.

I've ridden a lot of bad bikes, I'll have to think about it...

While I didnt like that current gen YZ450, you should get out and ride a few more bikes. eg. Husky TC250F. Man, now that is a shitbox. Front end is super heavy, bike is super heavy, makes less power than an XR200, and it is just plain wrong.

Heavy, slow and wide. My friend had one and he called it Moby Dick.

I have been fortunate, most of my bikes have been great bikes. Out of all the bikes I have owned, the 2004 Stock Honda CR 125 was a dog.

My brother was to take me skiing but instead; we took these old beasts out of retirement. Had never ridden a real motorcycle until this day. I couldn't start or hold the damn thing up most of the time BUT it sure as shit taught me to "respect" the motorcycle between your legs!! I think I was 13..

I rode an XR 600 once, scared me to death. Made me appreciate Scott Summers even more.

i have ridden some pretty scary CR500s over the years as well. I always preferred the KX 500 myself.

I can't decide which one I disliked more.

I disliked this one too but it wasn't as bad as the other two.

I don't have anything against Suzuki, I liked my 08 RMZ450 a lot, but fifteen years ago I really felt their bikes sucked. Oddly enough the 98 RM125 was the complete opposite experience, I loved it.

Serious? We had one of those and that thing was superlight and felt even lighter. Pretty well suspended stock, cornered like it was on rails and would stop on a dime. Very high strung stock, a little of the base, port cleanup, head work, V-Force, Dyna FS ignition, FMF SST w/ a Bills Shorty.....life was good.

You guys have some weird ideas when it comes to worst bikes.Laughing I helped a friend restore one of these and got to take a lap on it when done. Talk about a turd. Pretty turd, but still a turd. The 250 Islo engine was just that...is slow.

I was thinking the same thing, Newman. I liked that bike and it was easy to ride.

Now if you want to talk about a scary bike to ride I have to say the scariest bike I've ever rode was a stock 97 CR250. High speed chopped out straights with a slight curve to them or downhill in 4th gear, really made me check to see if my St. Christopher medal was on!

Faster than the Cooper 250, my same friend had one of these too. Puch 125. He always had the weird shit for vintage racing and this was no less weird.

"For sale-1972 Suzuki TM-400. Only ten hours on bike. Possible injury forces sale. $500 or best offer."

Those bad boys were as mean as they came. And you had to be just as mean to stay alive on them.

I must be the only guy on the planet that loved the 85' CR500 and the first generation aluminum frame CR250s! lol

My 85 CR500 was a super fun wheelie machine and my 98 CR250 was a killer woods weapon. (it was a former Mike Craig/Honda of Troy bike) Pro Circuit kit Suspension was amazing.
