A couple weeks ago I put out a thread that said how much 2 strokes suck...
Then earlier today, I did pretty much the same.
This was all part of an experiment that I was doing. Do be honest with you guys, I could give a shit whether you ride 2 stroke, 4 stroke, or a freaking 3 stroke. Makes no difference to me. Do I love my 4 stroke? YES Did I love my 2 strokes? YES. Do I love riding regardless of how many "strokes" there are...HELL YES.
Back to the debate.
In the 2 threads that I made, I didn't call anybody any names. I wasn't over opinionated. I simply stated a couple of my thoughts about 2 stroke motorcycles.
YET, some of you take it so damn personal that I have been called names, my intelligence has been questioned, my speed on a bike is brought up.... Seriously guys, I wasn't insulting your mother for goodness sake.
LIGHTEN THE FUCK UP A BIT!!!!! And before you guys tell me I'm taking it too seriously...I realize that some of you are joking around with me..... but others seem to really have their feelings hurt that somebody (me) was talking bad about a 2 stroke motorcycle. Seriously.....
You like 2 strokes, he likes 4 strokes....you like bubba, he likes RC....you like SX, he likes MX... Are any of those differences worth getting into a pissing/name calling match?

I f you grab a Ratio-Rite and pour Jim Beam in there first, perhaps six ounces -
then grab ya a bottle of regular Coke and gently pour it down the side of the
Ratio-Rite, delicately intertwining the two fluids, like a pair of anacondas in
a lovemaking session - snake porn if you will - then gently swill about the
concoction - while looking upward and heavily pondering the subject at hand -
marinate deeply while thinking about the sights and sounds of our sport,
contemplating all - methodically - while sipping that jug to completion. Deep thinking.
You like guys, we like girls.
Half a quart sometimes,
then I disolve a few #10 tabs in a shot glass
do them and see if morning comes or jesus.
huhu

the world of MX is and has always and will always be fucked up

I will not even go into the $4300 complete engine replacement I had to pay for, after my 450 blew up, on the 3rd ride. I now constantly have a fear of blowing the 450 up if I accidently over rev it, or I have to panic rev in mid air. Another severe engine failure will end my riding.. On the 250, this isnt even a thought since alot of the parts in the engine arent in danger of being damaged when it lets go and if it does blow, can be rebuilt very cheaply.
Honestly I like both bikes.. For racing, and trying to improve my skills as a rider, I prefer the 250. My lap times average about 3 sec. a lap faster on it(on a track with a 2min. lap time) because the 250 doesnt allow me to ride lazily or make mistakes. I must be on my game at all times. When I have days that I just want to go ride and have fun, or screw around trail riding the 450 is alot more fun, because I dont have to worry about keeping the bike on the pipe. For me the 450 is alot more dangerous on the track. Its faster, heaver, and carries a higher COG over my 250, making it that much harder to keep under control, especially about 15+ min. into a moto when you are starting to pace yourself. Although I dont panic rev ofter, the 250 is also more responsive in this sense, as it will actually help the bike, where as the 450, just makes alot of noise as it bounces off the rev limiter.
A clean Ratio Rite for the Jim Beam. Castor oil residue has unplesant.......effects.
Post a reply to: The whole 2 stroke vs 4 stroke thing..and my experiment.
