It's a little narrower in some spots than I anticipated, but yeah, great track

MXGP made them shorten the track and take out a 120 ft table top jump to meet their approval. They should have left it alone.

They want a Sub 2 minute lap , and to cover it with the cameras they have , 120 ft tables on racetracks are pointless, and dangerous, IMO, but the track they have looks real nice , should provide some good racing tomorrow when it dries out a bit.

Track looks really good, kind of seemed like there wasn't much passing unless your name was Jeffrey Herlings, I don't think that's a "one line" issue or anything though just more that it's a very wide open track.

When I saw the track from the overhead shot, it looked very short. Obviously it is decieving as the lap times were over 2 minutes. Seems like a ton more rollers than the national
tracks. Hopefully tomorrow some guys can huck that quad.

What happened to the race being at gatorback? It looks like a typical gp track to me. I used to hate riding tracks like that in the mud.

I like the long left turn after the start and then into rollers, it seems so much safer this way. It is faster but first turn crashes happen less often. It also helps that the WW track is so wide. There are places to pass all over that track. When a pro says it was one lined I just laugh. That is there way of saying I followed the rider in front of me all moto and never made a pass.

Looks like a wide open (flat parking lot) straights with some small rollers and a few table tops, and a wall jump that slows them down a little. Not a fan of this track.

MX Sports and MXGP are responsible for the track design for this race. They demanded a lot of changes to be made to the the original track design. Florida is a flat state for sure but as you know most all of the top American riders live and train here instead of California. The heat, humidity, and all of the great tracks and places to ride on flat terrain in Florida is perfect for their training. California does have some very cool tracks too. I miss tracks like Carlsbad, Saddleback, and Indian Dunes, those were the days.

The surface looks good, like it can take a shit load of bad weather obviously and it's got lines and at least they got a little elevation in to it...

Better than Charlotte was!

Thats the exact opposite of what other people are saying (big supercross track) so it just goes to show you cant make everyone happy.

No hills and off camber corners is not MXGP's or Outdoor National worthy tracks. IMO

Supercross tracks are flat land with man made jumps.

Unfortunately that's not the reality for Youthstream, they seem to really love these no elevation tracks.

I'd like to dispel the rumors that Florida is flat. I grew up on the Alabama/Florida state lines and it was well known to us in Alabama that the highest point in Florida was less than 2 miles from our high school in Florala, AL. I can't tell you what went on at the "highest point in Florida" park back in the 70's but I'm sure students are still doing it today.Tongue So for all of you that think Florida is flat, here's 345 feet of proof.

IMO it's too wide open track, atleast for 250s, there wasn't too much passing at the 250 quali race. For 450s i think it's fine.

I like the track personally, though I would perhaps cut out some of the jumps just to improve the flow a touch, but either way it's fine. The terrain really helps it be more interesting than it might've otherwise.

Yeah the track and dirt is good. I would also cut out one or two jumps. Maybe put a longer wave section somewhere?

Looks like a combination of a wet Thailand 2015 and Kegums 2014 MXdn.

WW Motocross Park did a great job on the track considering the wet conditions earlier. Track is providing some very good racing and I have seen lots of passing going on. RJ31 and ET3 killed it in the first motos. Congrats to them and WW Motocross Park!!!

Do they keep covering the pipe on the finish line jump?

I do not have live stream, but judging by the pics I have seen, and the qualifying race.. This track looks great to me.
