I thought it was pretty funny when A Ray goes to grab the kickstarter and he misses it twice because it's little compared to a 450. lol
Is that the equivalent of going from an E start bike to a kickstart? A la Reed when he started testing with JGR after his stint on Husky's?

The Shop
It’s one of the biggest reasons why people miss 2 stroke racing. Riders trying to go as fast as possible on slower bikes is just so much more fun to watch than riders detuning 450s and hugging every inside possible with no consequence.
But yes. Good rider and if he could smooth out, he'd be a great rider.
I also believe that motorcycle racing is better when you don't have infinte power and traction.
Pit Row
Don't get me wrong, 250F's offer great racing. I'd really prefer to see a 125 2 stroke class and then a 250F class as the "premier" class. If you have to keep the 450's, move them as an outdoor only series like the old 500 class used to be.
250 class, 2 or 4 stroke.
True open class.
Simple rules for a simple motor sport.
^ All of these are great ideas. Pit bike for the win.
I think this is all more likely than getting everyone to start up 350 lines. I'd love to see how a modern 125 fuel injected four stroke would compare to a 125 two stroke.
The 500 class used to be taken just as serious as today's 450 class. If history repeats itself, as unlikely as it seems, the 450 class could be dissolved. Maybe not the production of 450's though; see Open class, dual sports, trail bikes, dirt track, etc.
