With two now under our belts we know the two main complaints are dead air time for the spectator and not enough time between the races for the teams and riders. The simple answer is to do what the MEC did. Make it a three class race event. So you go from 6 races to 9 which slims down the dead air time for the spectator and provides more time for the teams and riders. I have my own ideas but... [Insert your class choice here].

With our races only being a two class event I don't see how they will ever be able to resolve the format issues. You can't take away prep time from the teams to close the dead air gap. And you can't make the dead air gaps bigger to help the teams.

My only thought would be to spread out the 250 and 450 races with small amounts of track prep in between when needed but with the KTM Juniors also racing it does add in between time for the TV viewers if they won't air those races on TV.
When they run the 2 classes back to back they have a ton of dead time in between. If they have 250 Main 1 and a small break (longer than the current break) before 450 Main 1 and so on they could avoid the massive breaks in between Main 1 of the 450 and Main 2 of the 250 and still give each class their needed prep time in between. Just my 2 cents but I don't know how you fix that with the kids racing in between...

I didn’t feel like the downtime was nearly as bad for Atlanta. My issue with the triple crown is that it removed the climax of the event. The typical program’s main events are one-shot, winners take all type events so they’re very exciting. If they want to have some of the events be different to spice things up each year I’d rather see some two moto formats where full points are paid out for each race.

Non issue. See the MEC. They seemed to have it figured out.

Could not agree more. That is what I do.

However speaking in terms of the LIVE attendance that has suffered greatly the last few years. This would be an attempt to help those guys feel that they are getting their moneys worth.

I don’t have any complaints. And it’s obvious that the riders are much more amped up/heightened energy having to deal with 3 mains

That also happens to be probably the hardest surface on the circuit.

0 F**ks given about these finely tuned athletes and bikes having enough time between races.

As far as I'm concerned they can go from the finish line to the start and do it again.

We have too many classes already, the same guys run up front in both classes. I'd be open to a "pre-pro" 125 2t class based on age only.

let em tech 3 bikes. Riders can use oxygen and IV's to recoup. Suspensions can be pre set to adjust for worsening track conditions..no track maintenance needed. that keeps the program moving along...and it would pretty much kill off the rest of the privateers which is the point, correct? In case of an injury, allow a back up rider to take over, points go to rider that started first main. Everybody else that wants to race...pre pro, 2 stroke, masters, whatever can mob on Sunday!
