So simple, yet so effective. 208 pounds, 62 hp, 450cc 1978 RC500 Works Honda. Should be the “end thread” post but I am sure some are blind to the God of all things works.Laughing Honda really used to be in it to win it.

Mmmmm I'm with your there newmann.... Although I do prefer them with a little modern engineering twist. However..... I may or may not, be slightly biased.....

Is that a Bobby M production?.....I see his avatar on the tank....A Bobby M AW 440...rare breed. You don't see them in the wild often!

I’ll just leave this here...

The thing is: Put the YZM '86 next to a stock YZ 500 (490) '86, and then put the one you posted next to a stock one from the same year and compare them. For its time the YZM was an UFO!

78-79 CR250R for OEM beauty stock off the showroom floor. No contest.

The Phantoms (I had one) were drop dead gorgeous in their glass work and color scheme. The blue and orange were almost electric in how vivid they were.

1982 RC 250

Edit - but damn the 91-92 Team Peak CR125 is still incredible. Yet I hated how the stock 91 CRs looked.

Another good one - 86/87 DMC KX80

I'm not a Bultaco guy, but I still think the '74 Bultaco Pursang is the most beautiful dirt bike ever made.
