I had one. Had an electrical gremlin as best I could figure. Tried everything to get it jetted right and it would constantly kill a plug. Kept a carton of fresh NGK's around. Was just getting overtaken by the vintage bug and was buying a house so the KX went away. Still a great looking bike all these years later.

My brother had one. Front end pushed really baldly on tight corners but other than that it was really good and reliable bike. We newer any major technical issues with the bike. The motor had really easy to ride power band for a 125 and it was really stable in the bumpy straights.

My -91 KX125 was completely different animal. Motor had lot more top end power but is was lot harder too keep in the meat of the power band. Only thing my bike did better was cornering in the tight corners.
