Here is my look back at Suzuki's fun and feisty 175 Enduros from the late seventies and early eighties.

I traded my 66 Chevy 2 Nova for my 80 PE 175. Stupidest thing I've ever done. Most fun too.

But you gotta admit, usually the most fun things we have ever done, they tend to have a decent amount of stupidity attached to them somewhere!

I had an '82. Such a well-balanced, nice handling machine with good suspension and motor. Build quality was definitely inferior to both the ITs and KDXs I owned though.

I welded it up, and put 17.5" Honda shocks on it. It definataly looked like a late 70's works RM.

I had an 1980 Pe175, it was a great bike to venture from my 125 on the mx track into the bush, I think mine already had a modified pipe.

Mine bent the chain adjuster posts on the swing arm. A couple beads of weld fixed that weak area.

Blaze!! Please take a look at the Barnfind 1974 Yamaha MX125 thread I started....I know the MX125 wasnt as performance oriented as the 74 YZ125 but wanted to know your thoughts on the 74 MX125 from Yamaha.

Dang,

Wringing the poor little thing pretty hard there aren't you?

Looks like it had a "turbo boost" button on it

My best friend had a 175 at 16 years old and I was 14 and we rode that thing to parties from Miami to Daytona.

My buddies 175 was his first transportation with lights and plate and we rode it all over south Florida with me on the back but also he rode Lockhart stadium practices sometimes too with out me on the back though. Lol That's just a picture of us cruising at our best.😁

I used to check a off road riding book out from the library, that had pe Suzuki,s in it. This 10 yr old thought the XL 100, was groovy also. Yeah I know I was tall enough, for a bigger bike. Polish farmer I worked for, couldn’t handle anything bigger. Photo
