So it would have been between 02-04 when the mini 4 stroke class was big. Alessi had a fully built cr80 expert with a xr100 motor built to 150, Vermeer(I think) built the motor if that’s the correct spelling, and Donnie Elmer I believe built the frame and a one off fmf custom exhaust. My friends family protested the bike and bought it at either Ponca or I believe Whitney. For like 4k or around there. Bike was tricked out fully but when it was protested the first thing they did was rip out all the suspension components but left the rest alone, it was later fitted with EBR suspension and raced by my buddy. He has had the bike in his attic since 2004 and just got it down and I am picking it up this week. I’d like to know what this may be worth, it still has all the Alessi stuff that was immediately taken off and saved to preserve it. I’d like to know more details too if anyone can help me with memory on this story.

Not Vermeer - *Varner.
Ask Terry Varner about the motor.
You can find contact info on varnermotorsports.com

I thought that’s who he was referring to but wasn’t positive. Yes he built the motor. I’d like to find out all the info as the bike is in the same condition as when it was bought that day.

Sounds like an awesome bike, post some photos and if anyone has photos of bikes in that class, didn’t Milsaps race a trick DRZ 125/150 4 stroke???

What are you talking about? Mini four stroke? The crf150r came out in 07’ . Mike was probably on a 105cc, I’m not sure the limit was even 112 back then. Dude honestly just delete this whole post

Send Verner an email, He might respond in a year or two with a lie. Oh wait. he doesn't owe you anything (yet), so he might actually respond if you entice him with the idea that there might be something in it for him.

There's no telling what they had as far as motors went and what Terry was playing with at the time as far as motors went for them. The last time that I had seen Terry was 20+ years ago at A1 2001/2002ish in line at sign up he had just gotten a dyno and was talking about all sorts of stuff. So I assume he probably did a lot of fooling around the first couple years(2002-2004) he got that dyno, basically playing with different motors and HP.

You clearly know nothing about this, which is why you should have not spoke.

Yea. It was a new class they all ran with fully modded out small 4 stroke motors. Several pros ride the class.

This post is all a complete fable. There was a post on here a few short years ago where someone had the Allesi claimed bike. It had been sitting for a long while. The bike WAS NOT a 4-stroke. It was an 85 Super Mini.

Yea we know he built it, and fmf hand built the frame and a custom one of pipe. Chain of custody alone proves it was mikes, but if they see this post they will shed more light hopefully. Last thing I wanted was people that didn’t even know this class existed telling me how mike didn’t a ride a 150r because it came out in 07, like I didn’t know that… some people should not reproduce

You also are dead wrong and should not comment. This is not about mikes super mini claimed at Loretta’s, it was a mini four stroke built for a new class in early 2000s. Please if you are unaware of the subject stfu. You’re not helping nor do we need u in this convo. Read some of the other comments from people that actual remember what I’m talking about. No one is flour chasing or trying to cash in. Idc if it ever sales, just want them to know it’s available

I don’t think most of this is true. I also think you’ll disappear and not be man enough to admit that.

Show us some one line results from this class please.

That was at LL's 2003 Chatfield's .
I think he's talking about something different from Ponca or Lake Whitney.

Going by OP's past posts - I believe he is a collector of old mini;s.

Omg we know and we will give you credit as if we didn’t know as much as you! But again this has nothing to do with mikes claimed super mini for the love of god, read the comments some people actually know what I’m talking about. And mike and Tony 100% can attest this bike was theirs

I don't know anything about that class existing.
Really didn't follow much mini racing back then.
But I do know they played with motors and stuff and the four stroke thing was just taking off at the time.
So I wouldn't doubt it.
Good luck to you - I hope you get some answers.

Your original post and title of thread is confusing to some of us. I’d never heard of this one-off 4-stroke getting claimed, but I’m not saying it didn’t. But most only know of the infamous 2-stroke that was claimed (NOT PROTESTED) that Varner built.
This bike you have is not worth much, IMO

First off, watch your mouth. Secondly, 4-strokes weren’t even ALLOWED in any mini class until 2007. Mike turned Pro in 2004. Maybe YOU should learn more about what you are talking about. Again, this is a complete fable.

You’re seriously trying to make the point that these guys had basically air cooled pit bikes transformed to super mini race bikes? And you’re calling me a dumb ass? I actually raced amateur nats back then. No one ever lined up to supermini on a pit bike dude

So your smartest reply was I know nothing about this but I do know your bike isn’t much??? Do you even function bro? Just wait for the correct people to chime in before you embarrass yourself. I’m trying to be as respectful as possible but these kind of comments aren’t helping. Millsaps,Alessi and many more raced this class.

I can believe that one of the 70 classes at a spring national was basically a pit bike class and these guys found some pit bikes to race. To insinuate that they raced air cooled pit bikes in the supermini class is entirely disingenuous

Again you are dead wrong, and don’t know what you’re talking about. 100% this class existed and was popular in the early stages of the 2000s. And lastly no I will not watch my mouth, if you chime on with something dumb because you don’t know, I have every right to give you my mind.

This is easy, ask the alessis or the millsaps camp or seely or any of the others that raced this class, I for one know my friend eddy self raced this class multiple years and has all the proof you could dream of. Ask Clayton miller or any of the others around then they can also verify this
