Well, we've just learned that we have the first case here in our small county of 36,000 people. The local FB news group is going out of their freaking minds. SMDH.

This has been a boring few days, so I decided to take up a new extreme sport. Toilet paper hoarding. Shits gettin real on the paper products aisle.

Personally, id almost like the internet and TV to go away during all of this... i think it is a very large reason for much of the panic and the loss of common sense. People seem to feed off of each other’s anger, fear and panic. Ive spent the last 4 days in a skidsteer revamping my track. I was happy as a clam the whole time... that is until i came in the house each day for lunch or when i was done for the day and would either look at my phone or turn on the news. Then i was angry. Yesterday i left my phone on my nightstand and had a great day... until i was bombarded from the nightly news.

There are times (like now) when life is so much better without being bombarded by the internet or the media.

Its really simple.... we know its out there, use common sense about where u are and who u are around... more so if u are elderly and more yet if u are elderly and not in good health (this should be true regardless of covid19, flu, cold, HIV, gonorrhea, or a shitty diet). if u feel uncomfortable with something, remove yourself from the situation. Take even more precautions than normal about personal sanitation and if u feel sick, dont be a dickhead and expose others (doesnt matter if its the flu, a cold, or PMS) stay the hell home.

Its pretty amazing how normal life still feels when u arent bombarded by all the bullshit. Unfortunately i think that will not be the case in the near future when the economy tanks and people start losing their jobs. That will be the outcome that we will all feel in one form or another.

If you need that moto fix tonight, the 2009 Indy race was pretty exciting...as was that whole season. Back when James was FMOTP. Amazing how he passes Reed, crashes, makes up 8 sec gap....all almost before the half way point in the race!!

https://youtu.be/Ikn-pZGw6GM
To be fair, watch 2009 A2, and see Reed go from last to second. Just needed a lap or two to get the win. Easily the fastest guy on the night, by over a second. Watch how much time he makes up on James.

I’ve just been trying to stay busy.
So, since I’m worried about The Virus...and the need to stay clean and germ free...
I washed my hands...while I was washing other stuff...

Then, I went to the store and stocked up...you know, because of The Virus...on all the supplies I’ll need to get thru these trying times...you know...during The Virus...we’re gonna need provisions!
Like a new Mid Roof Long Wheelbase Transit Van optioned-out virtually PERFECT...you know, because of The Virus! I’ll need it to stay “separated” properly from everyone with The Virus...

I've been living in hotels and a motorhome since the 8th Dec. Always made sure I got a room for Sat evening's SX with some chow and beer..now thanks to the Virus I'm f#$ked.

Sitting ace out in the motorhome 30 minutes away from Freestone....feeling very homesick. Will they cancel and shaft me even deeper?

Had a flight booked to return to South Africa on the 29th and because of the Virus I'll be spending a lot more time hanging around.

Anyone know where I can buy a bog roll?

Spent yesterday in the skidder reworking our track. Son was spinning laps learning his new 85. Nice day in NEPA. Thought about going to doublin gap but just felt like staying close to home this weekend. Definitely less traffic on the roads which is nice but strange also.. Wings going in the fryer at noon today for family picnic. Overall a great weekend at home and thankful to be going to work tomorrow. I think anything anyone can do that’s “normal” will help mentally. Good thread!

I tore down the back end of the ole 06 KX250 and greased the linkage, doing a quick revalve in the shock as I truly believe I will feel the difference with the addition of one compression face shim and one HS shim from .3 to .25... but I’m bored so why not!

Well said. I'm more worried about the economy right now. This virus will pass. But I'm afraid the economic damage for some people and businesses will be bad. But I'm hoping for the best.

Thanks! That bike is the product of JR Boyd/Crew Chief of the RMATVMC KTM Team.

It’s a stocker w/ Twisted Development Vortex, FMF Pipe w/some special test flange that JR Designed (shhhhhhh! Has a bit more bottom for those slimy/technical sections), all of our Carbonfiber CDG pieces, a light as hell and bullet-proof Guys Seat/Foam, ODI McGrath bars, ODI Emig grips, Dunlop 53 frt/Bridgestone 204 rear, Talon 15/50 gearing, Regina race-ring chain, Rockstar Edition holeshot device, Rockstar Edition glide-plate, RMATVMC “19” Team graphics and plastic...to maintain Justin’s Mojo while he’s out...& hopefully NOT embarrass him, Holeshot Link, a few Mettec titanium bits, VP T4 Race Fuel, Engine Ice, Motul Oils...oh....and....not kidding...
Stock suspension that I run former than most folks...&....
It works!

She’s coming up on 60 hours and a SERIOUS tear-down.
