Who thinks Coop has a good chance at winning tonight? I feel like Anaheim 1 is always sort of an up in the air one. If coop is gonna win any this year I think tonight is a good shot.

Thoughts?

If not? Who? What are your picks for fantasy?

I'm a big Webb fan, but I would be shocked quite honestly. I think Anderson or Musquin might take it this round.

Love the kid, but he won't sniff the podium tonight.

I just think he's the one with the most to prove. Similar to Anderson last year. I think he's got the speed, but the start will determine a lot too. Hopefully he's been working on those.

No way does Coop win. Top 5 would be solid for him tonight.

I'm going Kenny, Dunge, Seely, Tomac, Anderson.

He'll be a top five guy after a good few rounds IMO. Wouldn't be surprised to see it tonight, but I'd be very surprised to see him on the podium.

I think Webb is being way overlooked. At some point this season he will assert himself as the top guy in the sport.

if he somehow manages to start out front and some of the other contenders don't get a great start, I really think he could stay up there

How could he make history? As far as rookies winning their first 450 main, Roczen and Josh Grant have done that. Actually I guess Roczen didn't since he raced some big bike races when he was in the 250 class

I think of him as a slower Eli Tomac. If his starts are bad like on the 250 he is gonna be struggling hard for a top 5.

A little talking out of both sides of my mouth on this one. I expect he will be a typical 450 rookie and have some struggles but I do expect him to top 5 it a few races. If he wins this year with a healthy gate in play I would be shocked.

Really looking forward to some racing.

I can't believe how loaded the 450s are this year.

My guess is Coop 5th. Just a few off the podium.

I have cooper to win in all my fantasy picks.

A1 is always full of surprises. Veterans do not want to kiss away the title at round 1 and seem to ride conservative. Except for Roczen who will push it enough to fall and not make the podium. Newbie Webb will be balls out for the win and finish ahead of Dungey and Anderson. Might be crazy thoughts....But there the are

I agree. I think Cooper is the next RV and will dominate for several years to come.

I would not be surprised if he wins several rounds this year and contends for the title. Next year I can see him smoking everyone

Cooper Webb has the speed, the talent, the heart & sheer determination to win that it takes to be a champion. There is no doubt that he will be...but I don't see it happening for a couple of years. I do see him hitting the podium more than a couple times this year, and suprising a lot of people as to how close he gets to Dungey, Roczen & Tomac.

He won't, in my opinion. It will take time.

He's a racer, he always picks it up when it comes time to race.

Don't count him out of the top 5 let alone the top 10 just yet.

I'd like his SX chances a whole lot better if he were on a different bike. Reverse engine YZ450s have had a tough go of it in the stadiums. Hopefully he'll have his moments indoors, but he'll be a force to be reckoned with outdoors this summer.

I wasn't expecting him to be at the top of the charts in practice or anything, but I was expecting a bit more than 13th.

Yeah, he's gotta find about 1.5 secs, he may be nervous, it being his fist supercross race with all the big boys. He will get it figured out. I know he's faster than a bunch of those guys that qualified faster tonight, it's just a matter of time.

After watching practice/quali, webb is going to need a wish and a prayer to win… as in wishing people fall and a prayer to hold em off to win lol

I don't know...doesn't look like he is getting along with the 450. His laptimes at MXdN not really near the top; slower than Reed at Ausxopen and we see where Reed is here at A1, ~8th but still better than Webb. Usually stars out of the 250 class at least show some speed but I guess that is his mojo....starts slow and gets going but this could get in his head and mess with his confidence.
