In the beginning there was the scrub....Then james took it to a new level and it became
known as the bubba scrub...After watching Trey put his twist on it I think its time we called
it the Trey scrub. The kid can make your jaw drop pulling off this move.

Awesome video, especially the end. Maybe he should go on Dancing With The Stars when he wins the championship?

He's okay, not great.

Just kidding, watching Trey Canard reminds me of Ricky Carmichael. Trey's smooth and unbelievably fast on a 450, I think he can win this title.

Trey has probably the best scrub in the business. It's really a joy to watch.

Well, which is it? Does he remind you of RC or does he ride smooth?

I was wondering the same thing. Kind of an oxymoron isn't it?

Agree. RC is so aggro, very much like RV. Trey is way more smooth, more of a Hill or even Reed style. Coming up, Trey's line selection was always his greatest asset and impressive point.

I forget now which race it was, but he was almost scrubbing every jump and they were amazing to see. His scrub-whips are one of the best.

You still have to give it up to our local D 23 member.. Dungey.. He rides with the red # 1 for a reason scrub or not he can ride!

imo, and it hinges on this weekend first.

trey is 16 back. 4 races to go, 3 points between a 1st and a 2nd. if he wins out, thats 12 points. hes tied with RV for race wins (3). RV, Dung, and Reed are so focused on each other, if trey can grab the holeshot, which under pressure he seems to do, and win out, it could get very interesting.

The wildcard is JS. Not in a negative way you are thinking. If JS gets a 4th or 5th place start, and trey sprints and checks out, as hes been doing, JS could get 2nd as a spoiler to Reed, Dung, and RV.

We can all dream! lol

but remember, this is the same kid that went into the last round of his rookie year in the 250 class against RV..... and pulled it off (please, no dumbshit fanboy about trey taking him out, NOONE is good enough on a bike to take a guy out from beside them with their own rear wheel)

this is the same kid that went from 52 down to pull within 8.

Under pressure is where he seems to thrive and shine.

course I could be a bit biased! lol

imo, its Reeds to win. and Trey is the cinderella story!

I would say his style more like Pourcels.

James often uses the scrub to slow him down in the air. Watch Trey and you will see that he actually picks up speed with his scrub. It's like he slices through the air faster than the others.

I think it was Jacksonville, but could be wrong, with a lap and a half to go and Reed on his tail he scrubbed the triple and knocked the tuff blocks plus the timing lites off the top of the first jump. That was pretty impressive.

I'm hoping it was sarcasm...but, I know it's not.

The only thing I would compare between TC and RC is aggressiveness. That move TC pulled on Reed a couple of weeks ago was similar to something RC would have done (smart, aggressive and effective).

His scubs are super fluid. I said 2 months ago that he has the coolest style. He makes the track flow better than anyone.

Trey looks like he's jumping faster because he's lower and putting the power to the ground faster. I have been a fan since I heard of him.
