Seems like a cool guy. There's a lot to be said about a guy that doesn't give up in an industry like this.

Scott seems like a really good kid. There are so many of these kids out there today that are just a humble , well spoken and appreciative type racer.......and there just isn't enough sponsorship money out there for all of them. I wish him the best of luck in 2012.

It's a shame a lot of guys like him don't get a bit of a break to give them a fairer crack, but as jeffro says, not enough money for all of them,I hope A1 starts off well for him

It also matters whether you/your parents can partially fund the team you're on.

sometimes i wish i was Bill Gates rich, so i could just hand a guy like this a million bucks for the next couple seasons. that would get him to every national with a couple PC engines in that honda.

Thanks to all of you who watched our Vurb video. Scott and I had been trying to do something like this for a little over a year, so I'm glad everybody seems to be enjoying the video! Much appreciated, everyone!

Get a break? Wasn't he given an opportunity to ride a factory Yamaha? Plus he gets to go home to Erin, I don't feel too bad for him...Good luck in 2012 SC

Why P.C.? I guarantee you the motor in his bike is just as good as a p.c. race motor..

Seriously! I feel bad for privateers until I start thinking about my own life and the lives of average riders. Bust ass 40 hours a week (if you're lucky), come home to a nagging wife and crying kid, deal with the honey-do list, etc.
"Escape" to the track on the weekend for a couple of hours (unless it's winter and you live someplace with real winters).
Repeat.

i'm sure Scott has to deal with Erin nagging him and giving him to-do lists as well.... this video wasn't saying it's an easy life or that it's totally horrible, it's just saying how it is.....

I hear ya. I was just agreeing with yak651 about not feeling bad for Scott. Perhaps I let myself get off topic there. I did enjoy the video.
