The New Pulp MX App...anyone else having probs?

So I downloaded the new Pulp MX app, my iPad downloaded it fine but trying to open it and its stuck on the entry screen. Just black screen with a red Pulp MX on the screen. Anyone else having probs?

9.3.5 I got it working on the iPhone, but it still won't work on the iPad. I actually am listening to it now and they were commenting about the iOS issues. But its shows I got the most current version on the iPad. Def appreciate the help.

Sorry about that. I believe I found the cause of the issue. If you force close the app on your iPad and reopen it, it should download some updates. Normally there's a little notification so you know it's downloading, but you'll likely not see it since that splash screen is in the way. The updates take on average 10-15 seconds to download and install, so give that a whirl and give it a few to do its thing and see if that fixes it.

Not gonna lie. I have the app. I update it. I laugh every time they talk about it. Could give less than two fucks about whether it's working or not.

The podcast app downloads and plays perfectly, and if there are some issues with the Pulp app, I figure the amount of entertainment that dude has provided me for free, whatever. 2 bucks. Who gives a shit.

Just wanna say thanks for all the work, Travis I'm sure all of us pestering you for the past few months got old pretty fast. I think most of will really enjoy the app now as I and others rely on pulp to get through the day sometimes and it's nice to have it all in one easy to find place.

Not to mention all the other stuff you do for us pulp fans. Thanks a bunch! Smile

Downloaded the app today. After having to pause the show a few times, when I hit play it would no longer play. Have been pausing and playing thru the site and chrome without issues since. Sure as fuck not worth two bucks considering it failed 30 minutes into the first show.

Mine isn't pulling through new stuff on the Steve matthes show. It pulled the new pulp but not the review and pulpcasts. I reinstalled a couple times that didn't work. I'm on Android. I haven't had issues up to this point been working pretty good for a while.

I really wish Steve would stop playing or taking calls about the app not working. Who cares about (most) of these people not being able to listen that are complete idiots that can't find another way to listen live.

Mine launches, but I can never listen to a live PulpMX show non-stop. It always stops and will not play again, I have to close the app and re-open it in order to hear it again. After a few times I just stop and wait to listen the next day from google Play podcasts. (I am on a Galaxy S8)

S8+ here with this same issue. I have no problem paying the 2 bucks in exchange for content. But I'll listen later in the week via play music.

I agree. Steve should stop mentioning the problems with the app. Vital MX should just send posts about the app straight to the Dumgeon. No one would even know about the problems. Fuck it, its only 2 bucks for gods sake. If you bought something for 2 bucks from Walmart and it stopped working would you bitch so much about that? Just accept it for what it is.

How come when I try to email the show through the website does it say something about using a proxy? I’ve tried it on my iPhone, iPad(same wi-fi) and a desktop. Desktop was not on the same network as the iPhone and iPad, it was at a totally different location.
