What gear is he lacking that a pro mx rider wears? He has his helmet w/ face shield on and a t shirt offers just as much protection as a jersey, long sleaves do squat to keep you safe.

Obviously it is a benefit to wear as much protective gear as you can but many top pros go out with only a jersey for upper body protection. I think it is foolish on the pros part myself.
