Figured I'd start a more positive thread about this race, seeing as there are already a few negative ones... But yea, this facility is pretty awesome and the (small number of) riders who made the trip all seem to love it...
Kudos to the creators 👍

I'm purely saying it's a nice track. Plenty of other negative people are focusing on the number of riders, and that's correct, because it isn't great to have so few riders, but that doesn't mean it isn't a nice track
I hope it stays like that for the locals when they're done with this shambles of a "GP" round.
But at least the thousands of fans (2km of roadside people) enjoyed the riders being here
Look, I can see the point / dismay at the entries situation - that's that Bastard Luongos doing, through sweet FA Travel Assistance, but it looks to be a Great track. Of course, we'll have twats that think it's crap, because that's their 'go to'.

Let's hope they get a good attendance, the local Promoters / Gov don't lose a motza on it, and it becomes a Permanent Track, for both Locals and GPs. But, Luongos 'formula' tends to end up with a lot of financial casualties , while He lines his pockets.
Even better with the ocean view!

Shame on all the sad folks here talking down on a country and populace they’ve never visited or given more than half a thought about. A quick google shows there are a few grassroots moto orgs there. I’m sure some kid is going to see his hero ride in person for the first time, and ain’t that what it’s all about?
It would have been a great, affordable trip, on a new to me Island , that I was really looking forward to. Indonesia is always a great trip.

What I don't get is how any one except Infront makes any money building a track and facility from scratch for once a year use in countries that don't have many moto riders/fans? Would think between Infront's promoters fee, grand stands/ etc. plus the cost of building track and running race it's costs a considerable amount of cash.
Realize Upfront needs to run races in various non-European countries to call it a world championship, but don't' see how the promoters make anything even with good turnout or what am I missing? .
Acknowledging it's a nice track, giving props to the track builders, hoping the locals get to make use of it afterwards.
Those ARE the positives. Don't be soft mate.
Guiseppe's a f***ing genius!
Ayearinmx, I apologise, I thought that was at me even though reading it now it clearly has Rob's name above it.
I was sure I wasn't being a negative Nancy, turns out I was being completely illiterate though!
