I was mostly referring to marv. He went from about 3% chance at the title to 0. Whats worse is he dropped elis chances too...im a little selfish.

Maybe dv can chime in but I was surprised that both seemed a little off all day. There is a perception that they excel in rutty technical conditions but I had always thought French riders were also great in slick throttle control situations since they all grew up riding that rocky concrete in France.

When I saw the track I was expecting both to excel.

Marv talked of not feeling well and the track was 'tough'. Altitude bother him? That sure was not the same MM as the last three weeks. He didn't fight CW one bit. Not the same KR either.

MM didn't have a ton of speed in the whoops. Tomac passed him in the whoops so quickly that I thought the 3 was a 7. Later on, Webb got him there as well.

The race line was so dominant that a top guy like Ferrandis has a hard time making a pass. If he had started behind AC he may have had a chance.
450s though Eli was on another level, and at this race it was a level up ?.
