Notice the difference in the track....decent length start and less jumps/further apart.
Good action!

One of my favorite all time riders. I hope he is doing well. He was sure stepping it up before his crash.

I saw him win his first SX in Tampa. He was smooth and effortless unlike anyone else.
I'll always remember that race, and the many times saw him ride since.

Anyone have vid of the 99 St Louis SX? I was at that race. Ernie crashed in the first turn and Kelly Smith led almost the entire race. Threy it away on the last lap and Ernie came from last to to take the win! Smile

Nohing was a for sure deal on a 125. Now there is no question of they are hitting a triple or certain line every lap. That was an awesome heat race. Ernesto has a twitter, I fallow him on there.

What race was it when the yamaha 250F was new and he clipped kelly smith on a landing and he went onto win? That was the first SX I had seen, so cool.

That race had nothing to do with displacement...and everything to do with heart! Put those guys on XR80s and it would have been just as cool.
Travis had very little to gain by beating Sellards- but he did it anyway just out of pride. Awesome.
