So, it seems as if Stewart tweeted a threat toward Reed after Chad commented on Stewart's performance (or lack thereof).
Does the FIM/AMA have any policies in place regarding social media conduct and/or ettiquete? What if
Stewart does in fact put Reed back on the couch in the future? Someone may need to tell James to stick to
dinner invitations to fans instead of threatening to send a fellow rider back to the couch.

This is not the NFL. Putting a hit out on another participant is totally cool unlike the Saints. But JS apologized for his words. So it's all cool bro. True story.

There an AMA rulebook, and that's what they use for on-track rulings. If you look through it and can find something regarding social media, you have your answer.

Now come on. NO one looks at that. ama rule book? LOLOLOLOL. thats the dirty little secret. Everyone uses that foundation for this sport, and chastises people who enforce it's process/rules. So there is no way anyone would look at that. you should have known.

isn't twitters simply opinions? LOL I think that little exchange is funny, smack talkin is part of the game. free speech is kinda part of the game i would suspect. If the riders were paid like NFL or nascrap stars, then maybe they should be expected to have a better speaking plan?

The AMA rule book states that if he tweets a threat during a moto, he could be penalized, otherwise they will take no action.

If you tweet at the bottom of the finish line your OK. Tweet at the top and it's all over.
