All I could think about while Ryan was dogging Reed was Reeds buttpatch, "Hi Ryan": I was worried for Ryans sake that he would not make the pass. But he did and it was a nice move.

But in the end he lost 2 more points to Millsaps.

Dungey has already had two bad races. At least bad races for him. Millsaps worst finish is a fourth. It is a long series. He is going to have at least a couple bad races. Dungey needs to keep doing what he is doing and he will gain points back. In 2011 he was further back and he came close in the end.

if Milsaps can avoid a bad race until the end of the sx season, then not only is a fast mofo, but the luckiest bastard in 2013. This title is going down to the wire, stamp it. Doesn't take much to have the slightest slip cost a bunch of points.

The only real weak link in Dungeys program is that he tends to catch up to someone and then follow him for a while before he really tries an aggressive move, and all that time the leader is building a lead. That's not as bad outdoors, but it's a serious flaw in these sprint supercross races. Of course, he's more aware of that than I am.

The past two short races have definitely not played into his favor. It was nice to see him do that aggressive move. If that were Villopoto behind Reed, there wouldn't even be contact because Reed would know it was coming and lay up a bit. An aggressive move by Dungey caught him completely off guard though and he went through the corner his normal way, which caused the contact. That's what Dungey will have to do if he's going to win this championship. He's got a good streak of podiums going now, but the problem is the way Davi is riding, it seems like someone will have to reel off a few consecutive wins to match him in points, and the only one I see doing that is Villopoto. Lot of racing left though, and one 7-8 place finish by Davi will change everything.

I was really impressed with the Dunge! He rode awesome. The only thing I have ever said bad about him (besides he won't podium) is that he can't pass a top guy. Well he passed Stew last week and Chad this week. So I will now eat crow!
