I was hoping B.B. would call them the Steve Matthes Memorial Nets when they interviewed him.

It not only saved his life it placed him back in his seat and ready to go! If you watched closely you can even see it pull a tear off for him before sending him on his way

I hate timed practice and the severely outdated “Double-Displacement Rule. I dislike the starting grids, holeshot devices, eliminating semis, three main events, jump fest tracks, and excessive track grooming. That all being said, the catch nets are a good addition and saved Blake Baggett from a possible hard crash.

Duuuuuude that net saved Blake's season!! Both indoors AND especially the outdoors......if that net hadnt been there to save "Brake Baggit" he woudve dnf'd for sure and wouldve surely been interviewed by Mr. Tom Broke-off himself ....in the wise words of Kenny Watson ....Blake wouldve been "Rooned" had the STEVE MATTHES MEMORIAL NETS not been there to save his ass, the Great Outdoors wouldve been an incredibly boring season this year.

Funny, I was watching the races with my parents whom rarely watch the races unless I talk them into it, were blown away by how that net save Bagget and I explained how Matthes has been going on and on for the last 4+ years regarding the implementation of the nets in order to bring back bowl berms and why Chris Blose's wild ride spurred the inital spark that Matthes needed to "Make Supercross Great Again"
Sheesh bro, take a breath lol. We just need figure out a way to get Steve his credit without rocking the cart too hard. How about a gofund me to place images of Steve’s face and a PulpMX logo on the nets?

I was a little surprised at Roczen's comments. He was kind of "meh" on it.
Imo it saved BB from a nasty crash.

That being said the whole thing was pretty cool. The way he grabbed the net and dropped right back onto his bike,
