Hav g our factory and our biggest client's factories shutdown have placed more than 100 of us with out work. There is no timeline as to when we can open again. We have had 11 deaths so far and it is vicious circle...folk start showing signs of improved health only to be dead a week later.
I'm reasonably fit so im fighting it of...iv opted for the Ivermectin treatment which has positive signs.
My body is broken...everyjoint in my body is sore and my equilibrium is fucked up...occasionally i can walk straight but the suddenly straight the crab walk .Been eating loads of fruit, mainy citrus and white meat..fish, chicken and steamed veg...a bananas...i dint have much of an appetite but need to eat.
We have had to send out two daufhters, Hannah and Kara away, as they are noy positive, to live with family who are covid free.
The sucks balls man i work with my hands and having to have asked the Vital crew for some donations hurt me but we were desperate not having income.
Africa is a wonderful but can be a ruthless place.
Its thanks s to people like you who have helped us pull through. I'm grateful, if it were me alone id suck it up and most like cutle up and die. I do this for my two wonderful daughters...they have a whole life ahard of then.....and each and everyone one of you have help. Thank thank thank.

I have a hospital plan but the treatmeant meds are to be paid for buy cas and this is where you all have hade a difference.
We are nearing the point we we can budget in order to make ends meet.

On a practical note: when you recover...is it possible for you to get to the US? If so, there is plenty of work in my area for a skilled welder, both with the company I work for, and with other companies. If you need work and can get here, I have room in my home. I have to get admitted today as i can feel my respiratory system taking strain....then the body joint pain... I've never had anything like it before...i now need assistance to walk. I was once many years ago in special Ops...Congo, Angola Lwanda Ghana, Sierre Leone...all is a malaria belt, now some wise doc reckons i have also got Malaria (more than 30 years ago) which is bull shit..I've need contracted Malaria..so i debund that.
I'm in for the whole 9 yards today....fuck Damien, im really scared..I've lost close of 5 kgs already...a positive..

She had it easier than I did but it was fucked. Anyway I had a fever of 103/4 for 11 days, no taste or smell for a full 20 days. I actually collapsed at home and woke up to my wife and my mom putting a cold towel on me and the paramedics were at our door.(to this day, I think my fever went to high). Went to the er and they tested me, came back positive 3 days later. My parents took care of me and my wife, making us soup and giving us pedialyte. To me and my wife going to sleep felt terrifying every night during that time.
For the timeline for me. Days 1-5 were progressively worse. Runs/burning nose/eyeball pain when looking left/right/up & down/ fever/ no appetite/ no smell/no taste/dizziness.
Day 6, I collapsed went to er (was not admitted)
Days 7-14 all same symptoms until day 8/9 that's when the fever broke without Tylenol. But dizziness and stomach issues stuck around until day 12...days 13-14 still had zero taste and smell but I had a throbbing headache it sucked ass.
Days 15 -20 tastebuds came back, smell only came back to things that were really close to me.
Currently my smelling power is still significantly reduced a year later unfortunately, but that's about it...I consider myself lucky in that regard.
- wife made a full recovery with no lasting issues
- parents never got sick, even though I sneezed almost directly in front of them on accident and they didn't have on masks at the time when we were Heading to the er.
With all that said boom, I pray you and your family makes a full recovery 🙏
We have 3 kids, a 7 year old, 3 year old and 11 month old. The 11 month old and 3 year old had very minor symptoms like me for a few days. The 7 year old never had a single symptom. None of them were ever tested.
Also, my wife got the vaccine a few months later. She was WAY sicker after the vaccine than she was with covid for about 3 days then was completely fine. I woke up the night she got the vaccine to her shaking uncontrollably. I thought she was having a seizure. Scary stuff.
It ran through our house these last couple of weeks too. Only my wife got really ill and is on the mend now so I was able to tend to her. The lockdowns have also been heavy on our businesses but we'll survive.
Hope you have someone around the house helping you out. You really should be in bed resting and keeping the fevers under control.
