They charged head first into the fire this year and deserve a parade for their effort. Thank you boys!

Cooper waxed everyone in his qualifying race, pulling a holeshot while lined up in the parking lot and both JA and ZO were great working their way through the field. Massive props to Team USA.

It was great to see the journey and it's a bummer it didn't work out!

Great post, JustMX, was thinking the same thing. Proud of our boys, and I’ve never been a JA fan, but he brought me over to his club with this effort. Much respect to all 3, thank you Jason, Zach and Justin!

Can't fault their application and individual performances on an incredibly tough and unfamiliar surface. They'll be one of the favourites again next year no doubt.

Perfectly fitting. It's not from a lack of effort, passion or talent. Unfortunate events happen. A podium was definitely attainable. In adverse track conditions the Euros outperform the AMA riders for now. WE WILL PREVAIL. Thank you, Zack Osborne, Jason Anderson and Justin Cooper .

I'm sure if it wasn't for the flood they would have gotten a podium, but the effort they put in, I'm sure there is a fire burning in each of them to go back again and show what they are capable of.

I have never been a fan of the Des Nations until last year when I went to Red Bud. Saw how the fans were fanatic for there country. I get tired of riders not wanting to go or teams not wanting to put effort into it. But to see 3 riders like this year that took interest in and prepared for it was very cool. Thank you Anderson, Cooper, Osborne for putting time and effort into something for free.

They did pretty good. Nobody expected them to beat the Netherlands in the sand anyway.
Cooper went 27-25 with a supposedly broken arm. They would have needed one 15th from him to land on the box
