Texas 2 Stroke Championship

Sunday January 28

Three Palms Action Sports Park, Conroe Texas (30 miles north of Houston)

$5,000 pro purse. There will be a 125 and a 250 pro class.

All the amateur classes will be available from 50cc to Vet.

3 Palms is an action sports facility that includes 7 tracks on 200 acres, two lakes, wake cable park along with a full sales and service motorcycle dealership. Open 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.

One of the unique things about 3 Palms is on race day the other tracks on the property are open for practice. So if you what to get warmed up in between moto's, you can jump on any of the other tracks on the property.

So 3 palms had a million dollars in damage after the Hurricane ? Seemed to really rebounded nicely.

Indeed...

Here is a pic from their first race back since the flood, Curren Thurman keeping it low during Round 2 of the District 20 Championship Series on October 15. The tracks have all come around very nicely since the flood.Photo

The GP track is already back to where it was before the flood. A lot of the sand has been removed from the tracks since the flood and lots of clay has been brought in. All the tracks are back in great shape.

What happen to Emrils (sp?) son? I see he keeps posting about him having issues but no mention of what.

To clarify....

Emil, the owner of 3 Palms had posted on social media that is 17 year old son Joshua was going through some difficulty and was asking for prayers. Emil did not disclose what the difficulties where. Since then Emil has posted that his son was doing much better and was thankful for all the prayers.
