Holy shit... just turned this on TV and caught this scene. Thought I was going crazy....

Generally, the only recorded material used from the take is the dialog. All other sounds are created by the Foley artist. A foley artist generally creates sounds that the audience expects to hear or will enhance the scene. If the Foley artist does not know that there are different sounds for different motorcycles, he/she is simply going to produce a sound that he/she thinks is appropriate. It still bugs me though, when they get the 2T 4T sounds wrong.

I would dub 2 troke sound over a 4 troke too. 4 trokes sound like thit.

The sound of Terminator's shotgun isn't authentic either. It's actually a jackhammer over-layed with the sound of a donkey kicking a cement wall (played in reverse).

What the hell does the "T" stand for??? It sure as hell don't stand for "Stroke"....notice the big ol' mu fuckin' "S" at the begninning of "Stroke"????

The "T" stands for "takt", as in 2 takt, which means 2 stroke, hence, 2T, which means I did get it right.

I'm not intolerant of anyone's culture, I just find it odd that a bunch of English speakers are using "2T/4T." Most probably don't know what the T stands for.

Dude relax... thats a line from the third austin powers movie.... I agree... what country do they think this is (another movie line from ferris buelers) , and the whole 2T/4T thing drives me absolutly nuts! I have said this before, if you are truly a motocross fan and rider you know that:

YZ 250 = a 2 stroke
YZ250F = a Four stroke... hense the big F at the end
