Tent camping MXDN

Yes you can tent, no issues. Do you have a moto van? sleep in that. Or pick up a cheap cap for the back of your pickup truck, throw a mattress in it and you have solid structure from cold/rain. After going to the last MXDN there is zero chance I'd return in a tent. I definitely respect you for doing it. Have a blast, it's worth it

There may not be any real estate available left at the track. Whether you sleep on the ground or in a motor coach you will need a reserved spot I would imagine.

Just make friends a with someone with a camping pass and ask if you can throw your tent up at their spot. The spots are pretty big. But I'm with payup_199 after experiencing the 2018 rain fest no I stay in a tent.

If you find a place that will let you tent camp in their spot bring a tarp to put under the tent and a camping cot to sleep on and plastic tubs to put your stuff in.

I camped in a tent at the 2018 RedBud MXoN and it was fine. You do need to buy a campsite though, which are all sold out of you don’t have one already.

I emailed them this year after I saw the sites were all sold out and asked if I could find someone who was willing to sell me their Extra Car Pass, if I could do that and they said it’s fine. So I was going to put a thread up on here closer to the event asking if anyone wasn’t using their Extra Car Pass and if I could get it off them.

Hopefully I can find one because I would like to stay for the whole weekend again!
