"We knew this was coming but it’s now official: there will be no Team USA at the Motocross of Nations this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The American Motorcyclist Association announced today that they are withdrawing from the event scheduled for September 25-27, in Matterley Basin, Great Britain.
“The health of our racers and staff is paramount, and current and future global travel restrictions make our involvement in an international event impossible at this time,” said AMA Supercross Manager Mike Pelletier. “The U.S. team effort to attend the Motocross of Nations each year is extensive, both financially and logistically. Even in normal times, preparing our best effort at this point in the season would be difficult.”
In addition to the COVID-19 pandemic, the rescheduled Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is expected to have a round on that date. The schedule has not been released but it’s been rumored to begin in mid-August.
“The AMA takes great pride in competing in the Motocross of Nations each year, and we appreciate the commitment of the athletes chosen to represent the United States on the world stage,” Pelletier said. “The AMA looks forward to returning to the Motocross of Nations in 2021 and bringing the Chamberlain Trophy back to U.S. soil.”
The U.S. team has won the Motocross of Nations 22 times and is the all-time leader in Motocross of Nations overall team victories. This will be the first time the U.S. hasn’t sent a team since 2001 due to the September 11 terrorist attacks.
The U.S. last won the event in 2011."

Free pass from me, everyone needs to do what is right for them.

but.. can not WAIT for racing to resume at some point..
Hopefully this is an indication that the Nationals have a strong likelihood of happening.
I'm thinking it will be european only this year if it does go ahead. Our national airline has cancelled all international flights until March 2021 and any incoming expats will be paying over $3k for 14 day hotel quarantine. Australians aren't going anywhere this year and i'd suggest the same for New Zealand.
Corona Virus Effect : BUD Racing Kawasaki & Mitchell Harrison have to part ways
Mitchell Harrison can’t come back in Europe due to COVID-19
Following the restrictions to travel between Europe and USA, Team BUD Racing Kawasaki and Mitchell Harrison will not be able to continue the end of the MX2 GP season together.
Mitchell who lives in California can’t come back in Europe due to Covid19 and regulations between Europe and USA.
Both parties agreed to parts ways, so everybody can try to find solution to finish the season in best condition.
BUD Racing Kawasaki will announce soon a replacement rider to finish the season in Europe together with Pierre Goupillon & Quentin Prugnieres.
We wish Mitchell the best to find a ride in USA to finish the season also.

Australia wont be sending a team either
I think its out of their hands. UK government make the rules. My country my choice i guess.
This is distinct from the European Union outright ban on travellers from US.
