There's still time, but could Eli be one of the best to represent but never win a moto and as a team at the MXdN?

His personal results at the event (including qualifying races) so far - 4th, 16th, 2nd, 8th, 6th, 3rd, 29th, 4th, 7th.

As a team - 2nd, 3rd, 6th.

Please ET isn't the most talented. He had opportunities enough.

Just curious!

Eli is amazing and Team USA have been a dominant force at the MXdN.

Who else of that calibre that represented didn't win a moto/and the event as a team?

I really can't think of any . Stewart was on a winning team but I don't think he won a moto ? You can go back to Hannah I guess. Edit scratch that . Hannah was on the 87 team but again didn't win an overall moto.

Stewart won a moto in 2008

Stewart won a moto at Donnington, Hannah definitely won as a team.

Most of the greats (and I consider Eli as one) have either won a moto or as a team at the MXdN.

Please! He's 7th on the all-time win list and has years left in the sport! He's up there with the very best!

Seriously. We're writing off one of the greatest riders in the sport over one bad weekend. As we do to every rider whose name isn't "Cooper Webb". Ridiculous.

He is very fast and extremely talented and he is also very inconsistent.
He could race the next week and be better or worse.

Herlings is so consistent and on his own level right now.

The playing field is pretty level except for Jeffery right now and that’s a good thing.

Herlings has 1996 Jeremy McGrath confidence right now. That is very difficult to overcome.
