My friend is restoring a 93 CR250 that he bought from CL. His original intention was to just get it running and ride it, but I think I have him convinced to do a "replica". Anyone have pics of the Team Honda bikes from 93? Or any other Honda team at that time?

Thanks!!

the 93--96 bike is still competitive today IMO

i think with a set of CRF suspension it'd be every bit as good as any bike out there...flame suit on!!!

Did Honda ever make a 125 as fast as those years after they went to aluminum frames? I don't think so. BTW, I hope we're both right since I just spent a wad converting the front end of my 94' CR125 to 98' RM forks.

If it was me, I'd be all over the Peak kit. I've always liked those bikes.

I've got a 97 CR125 that sits in the corner of my garage as my "trophy" that I've been thinking about throwing a little money at and getting her back up and running. If I do end up doing that, I'm gonna do a McGrath Honda replica.

Those 250s were very similar to 500s, and were a little too powerful IMO (I've only ridden the 93). Flywheel weights work great to smooth it out.

I have a set of 08 CRF450 forks on my '95. The shock is also re-valved stiffer to match the forks and has a Ti YZ450F rear spring. The bike feels modern.

wasn't Scott Sheik not sure of the spelling? on team honda in 97 as a 125 rider ? and lamy on 250's? 92-96 cr250's are by far one of the toughest looking machines ever built. Mc Grath was hondas best salesman!! honda of troy bikes from that era were pretty sweet also.

any of those graphic kits for sale?
no sorry . the 95 -96 graphics are going on a 96 250 i bought new ,sold and bought back just to make a mcgrath replica. just couldn't decide between the 95 or 96. so i collected both complete kits and both the seats to go with. im just going to switch up the plastic and graphics and put it in a corner to look at. the 97 kit for maybe a future 125 project. also planning a 97 rm mcgrath and a 98 emig bike. just love the 90s bikes.

I'm looking to get some decals printed for a 93 factory replica look. Can anyone point me in the direction to find a template/dimensions for the number plate shrouds?

Also I'm looking for a view of the top of the rear guard to see what logos I need, have been searching Google and Can only find photos showing the Dunlop logo.

Radiator shrouds are easy, Honda wing and camel logo, forks are just Showa logo's, has the front fender got any decals I should know of.

Any help appreciated, thanks JIm
