Team Green Experts? Dealer question,,

I applied for the Team Green deal on a 21 KX450 and I am waiting for an answer. It seems crazy that I can’t buy the bike until Kaw approves it and If I do buy before they approve me I lose the money.
Is this true ?
I tried calling Kaw but no one calls me back… I think this is the first one my dealer has done so I don’t think they know the ends & outs…

Not at all how it worked for me. I bought the bike and got the approval weeks later and sent prepaid credit card.

My first dealership messed up the paper work and it was denied. The next dealership got me approved first and then i bought the bike.

The risk is if you buy it first and then it's not approved for some reason. Of course the dealership will tell you everything is fine just to shove the bike down your throat.

What's the process for getting the Team Green deal on a new bike?? Just sign up for the contingency?

You can Definitely buy the bike and get the TG money later on your contingency card. You gotta apply for the card before you apply for Team Green.

Good info. I just bought a 21 KX 250 from my brother but I race very little. My buddy just bought a 21 KX 450. He races quite a bit and should do this. My brother is a team green dealer.
