why switch to a 450 now?!!? i thought the 350 was sufficient
The Shop
Joking aside, it will be interesting to see if he's really switching or just testing and will end up back on the 350.
If TC switches to a 450 full time now, it suggests RV is already in his head because he's changing his program.
Nah, dude's just riding his dirt bike prepping for the GP's. TC's not a multi-time World Champ by accident.
And I'm also really surprised. AC has shown the 350 doesn't give anything up over there. He's been winning on it for 5 years right?
Just my beliefs, as you were....
Pit Row
AC knows the storm is coming......and he better have all his affairs in order.......cause this aint gonna be easy!
I Know , I KNOW........there are some huge JH supporters in here......but Christ , if he wanted a challenge he would of moved up. He's got no challenge in the lites class and hasn't for 2yrs now.
Besides that.....with me being a big AC fan....AC would of handed him his ass in a series. I don't care what anyone thinks!
Flame suit on.....
and then add,
you are talking about challenges and yet you're getting someone else to source parts for you.
to funny but to easy
No trolling in my posts....100% correct on the way i feel.
The " sourcing parts" thing.......What are you saying? Team Kawasaki didn't give me good enough parts to beat MC all those years? You slammin' my team bro? Cause I'll Bro down on you....Bro!
He has said that the 450s have an advantage over him, ironically, on hard pack - you see him on the 350 (and others, plus the MX2 riders) bikes looking like dogs on lino, due to the high revs they pull. 450s can grunt around - well, as relative to 'grunting' that 4T 450s that pull 10K+ rpm can have.
On deep stuff, he said he has no problem.
I don't think the previous provisos for other KTM MX1 / MXGP class riders that KTM are said to have - you start on this capacity bike, you stick with it - would ever apply to AC. Nagl, for example, saw the results AC got in 2010 on the 350, tested it, liked it, but found once in race conditions, he wanted his 450 back. He was kept on the 350, till the next year.
Hell, AC was down to ride a 250 2t (Roczen rode a 125, for a 5th, I think, and a big prang / dnf on one of the hard pack / watered downhills of Fermo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVJ_v2mWmSo ) in the final GP of 2011, but his Mum died a couple of days before hand. He , understandably, did not race. He buried his mum during the next week before the MXDN.
Cairoli will be able to use whatever he wants. Be it a 350, a ??? based on the new 350, or a 450. He's got far more than RV to be concerned with, with the depth of the field of real contenders for the Championship there are in MXGP. But, the addition of RV, may tip the balance. He could be on anything that fits the rules, if he thinks a particular bike / capacity will work best for him at a particular track.
They can race Full on Works bikes in GPs, so they all can use anything that fits into the basic rules. Some riders change things a lot, and often - many keep damned near exactly the same spec bike all season - even those with access to works bikes.
It should be brilliant racing in 2015 - I just hope that all of the riders stay healthy.
so to spell it out....
"kid" and "move up" cause im sure you'd be telling your 19 yr old son he had no balls cause he didnt want to move to the 450 class
and real real old kawasaki
bit clearer now?
