There is nothing like a Hare and Hound Bomb...And few have been able to do them at Taylor’s level... Pure Crazy...Taylor has my vote for the most well rounded rider on the planet at the moment. It’s so great to have a rider of his caliber racing the NHHA series (probably not since KC66...)

(I’m on my phone and I don’t know how to embed...if someone wants to do that.)

Always thought those were insane. Caselli had a good one on YouTube too.

Thanks for posting

So rad! I was riding out there last week- I can't imagine going that fast. It looks like the film is on fast-forward.

The part you don't see from his view is how bad the dust was haha. I was about 18th to the bomb and didn't even see that little hill before I was going up it, found most those rocks he can see with my front wheel.. Was finally able to see 100 yards down the trail about 6 miles into the race. and that was with only 15 of the 100ish racers in front of me!

Right on! How did you finish?

Edit: never mind, I checked the results...16th overall and 3rd Pro 250. You haul! Nice ride! Congrats on the podium!

I had the bomb run experience one time in 1982 at the Millican Oregon's High Desert 100 on a PE-175, complete with banner drop. It was totally insane with over 200 crazed amateurs on the line! Unfortunately, my bike wouldn't pull 6th through the sagebrush relegating me to a top 20'ish start screaming its guts out in 5th.

Kind of like the first turn on a Moto track. The bomb run is a wide area like 1/8 mile or more and about 3-5 miles long (at least back in the day when I raced). There is a pile of burning tires that marks the transition from bomb run to the marked single track course.

Alright, cheers. Good to know. We don't have these open-area races here in Norway. Mostly hardcore woods stuff. The normal enduro trails are like extreme enduro, so I've only ridden it probably three times during the last ten years. Hoping to attend the next years Gotland Grand National though so I've got to get to work soon :-) Have a great day!

This vid has some great footage of the bomb run from the spectator view point, from the air, and then you can look at the Taylor Robert vid above for the riders perspective.
