TX Race CR conversion kits

Edited Date/Time 10/20/2017 4:47pm
So last month or so those TX Race kits were posted up which convert 2002-2007 Honda CRs to the new 2015 style CRF plastics.

Was just wondering if anyone has bit the bullet and bought one, and wouldn't mind taking photos specifically around the airbox and close ups of the edges?

Looks great mate!

I really like the older shrouds on yours, the new ones to me look a little odd... The fender and front looks great!

Is that a different sidepanel and rear mudguard too?

UFO sold plenty of the yz kits that weren't nearly as cool as this one is IMHO. Would've liked a brand new bike but the wife says the 14 yz450f will have to do for a couple more years. So I'm upgrading the two smoke a Lil lol. Hope it isn't Cobby/ hard to replace parts for.

The kit looks great but does it seem to anyone else the shrouds leave the radiators exposed?

Great looking bike, clean, lean and aggressive looking. Can you tell me what seat cover that is ? My 06 would be complete with that cover.

clean setup on the '06 CR, RMRider1. what year fender/plate is that above, '12-'15 or the older style crf? also how did you handle fender/plate bolt up, require making brackets or just re-drilling plastic? looks clean!

Be sure to post up some photos! I'm unsure how sealed the airbox is. I don't really want too much debris getting in there. I'm tossing up whether to just get a 2015 fender and front plate and get other goodies or but the TX Race kit. I don't hate the OEM style but those kits look pretty nice. The fact that it can be brought back to OEM makes it more appealing.

Doing it now Gsxr6.

What have you noticed to be the best way to make the 01 Cr 250 look a lot newer?

Buying txrace or customizing some plastics from different years?

PM's are sent to the email you signed up with so if you sent someone a message and they've replied it should be in your email inbox. Check your junk folder as it could be in there as well.
