Get rid of that fuckin thing. Blocks 1/4 of the screen on my tv. Put it up top like before

People paid good money to block that part of the screen. I doubt it's going anywhere.
I just wish they'd make it see through.

You guys are ridiculous. It's so much easier to follow the racing with the sidebar. You don't have to watch some stupid scrolling bullshit for 30 seconds just to find a rider's position while you miss the action on the screen. With the sidebar, you can quickly glance and find where a rider is, and his gap.

I like seeing the riding order, but they should at least shove it all the way over to the side. And make it transparent.

I like it as well. I also like how they highlight the riders' names when they're on screen. With all of the overhead shots they're using this year, it makes it a lot easier to tell who you're looking at, especially when the internet stream isn't very clear/big.

I measured it , 18% ,call it a fifth of the screen,which is what I'm finishing,a fifth.

It is just Too F'n Big. For a brief moment at the start of races it was off and it was awesome to have 95% of the screen with racing.

After giving it another week, I love it! I know it helps my gf follow who is who better. I don't mind it either. I like being able to see who is moving up and who isn't. Being able to see Barcia and Canard move up through the pack just by the sidebar was cool.

I like it. I think it is a huge improvement over the scrolling bar. You can see where everyone is at all times, there time behind leader, etc. It doesn't take up that much room at all.

I dig the sidebar, I guess if you are on an 18" screen you may have issues.

I hated waiting for the ticker to scroll to see where someone was in the back of the pack, now I see it as live as I can from the living room, it's a plus.

Without the fuckn sidebar I can actually see the race and see what position riders are in, with no need for a scrolling ad.. now they back out all the shots so far u can't even tell who the riders r.... Then u glance at the sidebar and it is wrong anyways.. Wtf?

It has nothing to do with screen size (I'm 55'ing it) as it's a proportional thing. I'm in the camp of it's too F'n big. I like parts of it but I would rather not have it than have it if they aren't going to change anything about it. Make it have some transparency at least and reduce the size/font or something to make it take up less "proportional" room.

I did like the split screen action last night.

It hinders %18 of your vision on the screen no matter how large the screen is, and that's enough to cover up about 5 riders sometimes in a corner on the first lap. They could make the blocker less obtrusive and throw it up at certain intervals or times when the camera is focused on only one rider, or at least push it over all the way to the side because that little window is useless. Of all the motorsports I watch it's by far the largest and amateur looking. I realize it's all about dollars and they've sold screen time already but it looks like it was designed by an intern or someone that's never watched racing before.
