Im assuming this is the usual 250 west coast only operation? Got corrected on this one below by therealhammer.
Never heard of the other 2 guys, are they good?
The Shop
Yes pierce is on the team
I've seen Moreau race Paris SX and he wasn't very impressive. Not sure where that whole deal came from. Dude wasn't even in the same league as Jace Owen, who runs mid to back of the pack in US SX. It's going to be a wake up call on that one.
I saw this ad earlier and found it kinda funny. TLD must have really had the intention of signing McAdoo if they did a photo shoot for their new line of gear considering he was just a “fill in”
Pit Row
I think he has a lot of potential but it's a gamble. It's maybe worth taking if there were no options - but there are lots of options. So yeah, I don't really understand that choice either. Maybe something we don't know influenced in that decision. Or maybe they just see something in him. Nobody understood Dungeys signing to Suzuki 250 either. Or Vialle in MX2.
45 - good and improving
Drake - who knows?
Brown - who knows?
Moreau - why would they take this kid? They already have 2 rookies that are going to have results all over the place. Seems a bit redundant to me.
I get there might not be many options but what about Davalos? Hayes? Peters? Decotis?
As I said above, Cantrell has had a full 2.5 years and has shown almost nothing. He's been hurt a lot, but that can only be an excuse for so long. At some point it becomes clear the injuries are a result of trying to ride a speed you are incapable of. Falk seems to have been given very little leash, basically one full season and clippy clippy. I think he's shown some flashes that would give me hope and I would probably bring him back for another season. According to McAdoo, he wanted to stay on with TLD but they were dragging their feet and Mitch pretty much said "piss or get off the PC pot". Can't blame him for taking the PC deal.
Honestly, the whole TLD-KTM thing seems like a bit of a rocky alliance. I think after Marvin graduated 250s and this deal was struck, KTM stepped back and just let the TLD arm run everything. But the past couple of seasons have not met expectations, even Decoster alluded to issues in an interview on DMXS so I'm guessing he and the Austria arm are stepping in and trying to shore things up a bit. I'm not sure why McElrath and Smith were so vocally frustrated with the bike, when a kid like McAdoo could hop on it and get his best outdoor results with hardly any time on it.
he will be at Monster Cup in the AmAll-Stars. he's been in CA and is no longer training at MTF.
