I have always worn Fox, but like the look of the 2012 (and now 2013) Shift gear, so I might switch over to the sister brand. I will most probably buy a set of this if they release it. I am planning on getting a yellow/grey 2012 runout set from BTO soon.

Yeah, they have got a pretty unique look that looks good.
Reed's yellow,green & black stuff from last year was the coolest, I think

It can look as cool as you like but you know it's gonna fall apart on no time flat. Probably the worst made stuff on the market (from personal experience)....

They must have a new designer since the new stuff is quite a step up from the "baja" and "the Don" gear of a few years ago.

If Shift is owned by Fox, I would expect the gear to be of similar quality. I have never had Shift before, but have had a lot of Fox gear over the years. It all lasted and performed well, apart from a set of Fox gear I had in '06 which fell apart and wore out quickly. I always wondered if maybe this was when they outsourced the manufacturing to Asia and didn't have the quality control sorted out, but that was just an assumption I made that could be way off. The gear I have had since then has all been really good.

Shift has definitely produced some ugly gear of late. There was some cool stuff in the mix though. The '07 and '08 gear was actually pretty cool, IMO

I like how the new camo gear has the new style shift logos, with only the pattern based on the old gear - that is how retro gear should be done IMO. Usually they just copy it - logo's and all - from the past and it just looks old.

Just saw this on their facebook page

FIRST LOOK AT THE 2013 GEAR | Check out TransWorld Motocross test rider Pat Foster rocking the 2013 Strike gear at the 2013 KX250F Intro yesterday. Look for this gear and the rest of the 2013 line to be released aprox 8/1.
