Would be awesome but one rider that has been chosen is a joke...and I mean that literally...hopefully the FIM will intervene and stop it...

That would settle the debate at who is the strongest Smile

"It is an american territory, we won"
"yeah but a frenchie is there, you didn't"
"yeah but there are twice more americans,
anyway there are all ama riders, we won",
"no twice more came from the GPs before,
and they all ride a euro bike, we won" Smile
and so on lol, etc

Would be an absolute joke if he was picked. This is a proper world championship event not some side show. I have a feeling the FIM won't allow it

Poor Anderson got screwed out of redemption with that injury. His last time out he wins a Moto and gets landed on. We had a damn good shot at the overall before that happened. And he made it clear he wanted this chance BADLY.

He is a US citizen. Calvin going to Netherlands is not to much different. Yes he never raced for South Africa but in his interview he was livid towards his home country and said at the end I guess I'm Dutch now. He is South African not Dutch.

Trampas Parker was an American that raced the MXoN in 1989 for team Italy (where they placed second behind the USA). If Musquin could get the license, I don't see why he couldn't be part of team PR.

I know who one of the Puerto Rico team riders is. Don’t know the other two yet though.

I think he was referring to Ronnie Mac possibly being on the team.

If that was really the team chosen......It's a damn championship team no matter what race it is. And if Marvin has An American citizenship now.....I don't think there is much the FIM could do about it. If anything , it just makes the race that much better , by watching him smoke his own countrymen....because they didn't put him on the team! Go Marv!

I second this. It would be hilarious watching Marv smoke the French team.

Will the FIM let him race his '98 CR250?

There's no homologation rule so sure. But in my opinion the ronnie mac character has no place at the event.

It would be great to see a angry Musquin on the track, but also to add more top AMA riders !!!

It would also balance the fact that 3 great GP riders are not coming: Gajser, Jonass, Olsen.

Having the 7 best AMA riders with Roczen would really spice things up and it would be ever more awesome to watch !!!

I am a big fan of Ronnie Mac as I like derision, but it would be 10x better to have a team that is a win/podium contender.

However, to make things a bit spicy, I think it would be cool/fun to have a reasonably calm and respectful Ronnie Mac as a "coach", for the pitboards, and to add up to the overall mxdn atmosphere where quite lots of fans come with costumes ! The 3 top riders could even ride/get interviewed with moustaches, toupees and good glasses to try to stick to the incognito concept Smile
