"There was a comedian by the name of Mitch Hedberg. I didn't listen to him much but he had a joke that kinda stuck with me. It went something like this, "isn't it funny when you say something stupid to your friend bt they don't hear you and by the time you repeat it 3 or 4 times you find yourself yelling at the top of your lungs something like, THAT TREE IS FAR AWAY!!!". I don't wanna dive into this too much because, the conflict from this weekend is in the past. It was two racing incidents that ended with two very passionate riders upset because what they work their rumps off for didn't work out. And that's ok, it's what we do, as they say that's just racing.
But the worst thing to be done is when something that started as a small racing conflict, turns into a yelling match. My encouragement today for myself and for any other is to let the past be the past, learn from your mistakes and do your best to look through the filter of grace to others. And if we need a break from social media because the debates and conflicts pull us in and cause anger and hate...why not just get rid of it for a week?
That's what I'll be doing and if it's causing you to hate and get upset over something small, maybe do the same. Because the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God. Thankful for God's grace. Have a great week!"

Dude was one of the funniest comedian's ever. Unmatched in his delivery. Too bad the heroin got him...
The Shop
Gone too soon. He was destined to be a legend.
I saw Black Flag in '85 or '86 (Henry had the big sun back piece by then), and it was quite the show. I still have photos somewhere.
The photo I didn't shoot from that night? The skinhead bouncers using a credit card to chop up coke that they were doing off of a Domino's Pizza boxtop before the show.

When my son turned 18 he told me he was going to get that sun tatooed on his shoulder. I told him if I'd done that at his age I'd still have Strawberry Alarm Clock on my chest. He said "Who?" And I answered " My point exactly!"

Second of all, even if I wouldn't agree with them, if a Muslim or anyone else, is that devout it is their right to say what they want, and my obligation not to be all offended about it. As Christians have been told for decades now, if you don't like it, turn it off. I don't see how it hasn't anything at all to do with be professional, more that you have a hang up.
Here is a picture of me when I was younger. Every picture is when you were younger.
