Had an idea. Ama should run a 8 month series that combines supercross and outdoors. Give the riders a 4 month break to enjoy there lives. You could have a outdoor champ, indoor champ and overall champ. Could get very interesting

That is how it was done back in the day. Each class champion wore the number 1 plate in that series and the combined points for the season decided 2-100. They should go back to that system.

Believe the "Blue" plate was the overall champion or Grand National Champ
Combined SX ,500,250 and 125 points
Highest total points or something along those lines.
