I definitely think Barcia rides his 250F like a 125... i.e. revving the nuts of it everywhere lol.

And that 1991 Hangtown National video is nuts when you see them going into that massive puddle that covers the whole width of the track.

MX just aint the same. It used to be a HYPER sport. Now the 450's idle around the turns and drag race to the next.

They sure SOUND like they are going fast. Makes you feel like a hero to ride a 125.

in that video of Shougs whoop section, who was #45 on the Honda? Dude was tripling in every lap. Also heard "here is Steve Lamson on his Mike Gosselar tuned Honda. I totally forgot Goose was Lamys mechanic back then.

Jason McCormick, I believe. He was a Washington native and always did well there.

Gotta say, that Washougal whoop section video is AWESOME. For me, that IS what motocross is about.

I was thinking that it might have been him. The crowd seemed to be cheering like he was a local. I just thought it wasnt until 97 or 98 that Jason went to Honda, I thought he was Yamaha before that.

Bubba handing it to them on the tiddler:

Starting at 1:49 of your first clip is the perfect example of how James rode a 125 like no one else, ever. I've never seen that kind of raw speed and aggressiveness in anyone else. I wish it was still the same James as I used to be a big fan of his, but it doesn't seem to be about the riding anymore.

I was starting to get bored and had thoughts of quitting MX, so I went and got a 125 to bring back the thrill of riding again.

I had quit mx for about 7 years but still have my old 125, starting to get back up to speed again and getting a ktm 250 for next year just for fun as I'd only ridden but never raced one.

I put in some laps on a 08 or 09 YZ125 the other day, but it was not the first time I had ridden it. I swear that is the funnest bike I have ever ridden! I have a blast everytime I get on it. If I only raced and/or practiced motocross, I think I would be content with only having a 125. It is hard to beat the versatility of my 250 two stroke though.
