“Swarm” sounds on SX Seattle broadcast

Does anyone else hear a buzzing almost like a swarm of bees?

I know the stadium is renowned for their acoustics, so is this just reverb from the bikes? It’s pretty overwhelming on the Gold App broadcast.

Definitely lots of background noise this week, seems like some weird echo of the engines and crowd. Have not noticed it at all on previous weeks, guessing it is something to do with the acoustics of the stadium and wherever they have one of the mics.

Mic phasing.
The ambiance mic (crowd/bikes) need a phase flip or something.
It is almost unbearable to listen to ?
How do they not catch this, is there anyone listening to the audio even?

as an audio guy myself...
This is the equivalent to a Mechanic not hearing a burbling bike and saying to his rider
Mech “Wow, you look amazing tonight!”
Rider “Aw man, I dunno...this thing is barely running. Something is wrong Budz, can we do something about it?”
Mech “You gonna get some leg tonight, fo sure!”
Rider “Oh shit...”

Whoever is in charge of audio tonight needs an ass kickin’!

One of the ambient/crowd mics needs a phase flip goddddammmnz!

I switched out of the gold app to cable tv and it went away. It was driving me nuuuts even though it did a great job drowning out RC ?

It was definitely the drone noise from spider cam. It would get louder as it chased riders and quieter as it stopped. Very annoying.

Spider cam is on cables. It doesn't have typical "drone-noise".
