Can someone please help this guy out with his audio? Can’t hear a word he’s saying when he asks questions. He’s been doing this long enough, and asks great questions. You’d think he’d figure out a decent mic setup by now.
The Shop
It's about the dreadful audio when it comes to His audio. Most of the time I can't hear his questions. And, doing the 'Volume up and down' thing is difficult unless you are plonked in front of a 'puter, device or in a car with controls on the steering wheel. I'm always in the workshop, doing things.
Hearing the questions / points put forward by the interviewer is an important part of Pod Casts ( as against twits that make themselves the 'important thing'....... or at least a few think they are).
As ButteryWaffles wrote, he's been doing this for a while now, you'd think he'd catch onto this failing.
It's Not about being a 'Hater' of Swap, and / or a Pulpster.
It's about wanting hear things clearly, in a predominantly Audio medium. It seems a bit pointless if you can't hear Swaps questions, if only for context.
Hold the mic by your mouth when asking the question and hold the mic by their mouth when the answer is being given.
Don’t do interviews by the entrance to the track, the starting line, or by the take off of a jump. i.e. where loud background noise happens
Situational awareness should be in every journalists “tool kit”
Only Rutledge has done a better job appearing as a Douche on Pulp and Donn made the podium in the number 2 spot.
Pit Row
Now we have both and I'm a happy man.
