Suzuki will sell a two stroke. It's because people won't buy them, that's your problem.

Ahh, I see... That must be why KTM is fallen to the bottom of the OEM food chain. Oh wait...

WTF is Suzuki thinking? Motorcycles are really getting ugly these days. I went to the Honda shop the other day and was not impressed with any of their motorcycles. The new 1993 Honda XR-650L had BNG, the sales guy said it was a all new 2018 model, what a dumb ass.

I would surprised if the number of Suzuki 250&450 4 strokes sold is higher then the number of 85cc & 125cc 2 strokes sold by KTM. And that is excluding enduro 2-strokes.

I’m a Suzuki fan all day, but that thing screams “beat me up, and take my milk money” all day long.....
Looks like something Mr. Bean would ride.

My brother is a longtime Suzuki dealer, since 1974. Actually one of the oldest in the Midwest.
He has one of those on the floor. lol
And he said the same thing when they came out. "Really, this is all you can come up with?"

Every year he hopes there will be a new RM125, but instead he gets crap like this.

Just for clarification here.....Suzuki DOES sell a 2-stroke. It's called the RM85.

The VanVan has been available overseas for many years in two sizes, 125 and 200. They brought them to the US last year.

It's basically their version of the Yamaha TW200 but more of a "retro hipster" type bike than a beginner dual purpose like the Yamaha.

I have a TW200 -- it is a fantastic pit/camping/metro park bike. I've even ridden it on some trails and it's really fun with the fat tires.

And FWIW the first time my wife saw the VanVan she went nuts saying she wants one. Every time we are at any dealer she it sitting on it saying how perfect it is for her. She wants me to get her one and paint it yellow.

I think everybody is aware Suzuki sells an RM85. Although it's actually about a 2004 with bng. Extremely outdated.
At my brothers shop he won't even stock them because no one wants such an outdated bike.

They only stock KX85's. Suzuki could sell a ton of RM125's if they made them again.

Plenty of other new 125 options to buy. Support the company that makes them. Suzuki could care less if craigslist is selling old cr,rm, kx 2 strokes. Buy new, show the factory . If the demand is there they will make them.

Totally agree on the 125 thing. Heck I would buy one and I already have 7 RM125s!

The title of this thread shows that not everybody is aware that Suzuki sells an RM85.

Yamaha sells every 2s they make. No need to update. KTM sells enough to consistently update and improve their machines. People are buying new.

Maybe they should do what Yamaha is doing next year and make the 85 more competitive. Gauge some interest of the bike and think about making updated 125s and 250s.

The bikes could be the same as they were in 07 and I bet they’d sell every one.

Pretty simple, Suzuki doesn't make money selling competition bikes. They make money selling bikes like this, mostly in 2nd/3rd world countries. We should be happy that Suzuki still makes any MX bikes.

Suzuki sells that junk the world over yet Vitards claim they couldn't sell a single one of these.

That thing is badass, I would whip one over the triple for sure. A lot of traction and a hole shot with those tires for sure.
