Question is for Vital MX. can you guys get a interview with Chris Wheeler and find out Suzuki’s plans? We’ve had a lot of discussions on here, but no real insight as to Suzuki’s direction for the future. Are the getting out of dirt bikes or focusing on electric? Are they not doing interviews?

It’s a weird year for sports in general, it doesn’t surprise me that Suzuki doesn’t want to go ALL OUT on a team this year. It wouldn’t make sense to do that at all.
What ever happens in MotoGP will probably have zero positive impact on Suzuki in the world of MX. Their recent success in MotoGP and potential larger funds will with 99% certainty go towards getting two more GSX-RR bikes on the MotoGP grid. Because you wont be able to compete with only two bikes on the track in the long run with the current trend in MotoGP.
Also for those not familiar with Suzuki's branding in MotoGP, they got back in largely to tap into the markets in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand etc because there is a massive population to possibly buy smaller Suzuki city bikes and also a good market for Suzuki marine products, and MotoGP has a massive following in Asia.
I hate to say it but the success of MotoGP will likely result in even less marketing money flowing into MX/SX by Suzuki.
There are a lot of throwback to the 80s bikes out there, which makes sense given that the bike buyers in the 80s are still (much wealthier) bike buyers today. The 21 RM graphics are very '87-88 looking, (please bring back the blue motor). So IMO to appeal to that older demographic Suzuki seems to be aiming at they should be putting out a $12K RM "Bob Hannah edition" or whatever with gold wheels, blue seat, better suspension, e start and hydraulic clutch.

BTW, I vote for gold rims too!
It's just been that kind of year. Wouldn't be surprised. But then again, I am just speculating. I have no inside knowledge. But something changed and Suzuki doesn't care about dirt. Started in Europe at the end of 2017. Bleeding everywhere in dirt since.
