Been riding with öhlins front fork inserts and the ttx shock on my 13 and now the flow on my ‘19.

Always found the öhlins to ride a bit on the soft side so decided for this year it was time for a change.

Some of you may remember Reiger from the dakar rally cars, quads and rally trucks.
It’s a full dutch company making every bit of the suspension they offer themselves inhouse.

Got myself the rear shock with ICS and RCV and will expect the front fork inserts being bought in 1-2 weeks.

Always thought reiger looked super cool, when we ran the big-frame 150R’s back in -08 you could buy a reiger to fit that frame, i got lengthened Öhlins instead buy man i was jealous.

On the note of Öhlins being to soft, i ran Öhlins front and rear for almost 8 years straight but we never got it working just right, im very good friends with a former engineer that worked at Öhlins since the 90s so he got us all the trick stuff.
We went over the limit on fork oil and revalved it all we could but in the end we started bending the rods and breaking the insides of the fork, it couldnt handle the pressure

Yeah it’s always been a comfortable ride with them, but as soon as you started riding abit quicker or tracks got rougher the shock kept riding low, even though it was setup for me. The Reiger shock is in a different ballpark then öhlins, it has traxx-like features and is a very well made product.

Reiger are big in sidecarcross most of the top Grand Prix teams run them...

I did the same. Switch from Öhlins to Reiger. For me it was a unbelievable chance.

Since Teneco bought Ohlins last year, product availability as a dealer is becoming tougher. It is good that there are lots of other companies these days to fill in the void.

Dropped off my fork today at reiger to have them remove the öhlins inserts and put their cartridge system in, it keeps the right leg stock from WP with their spring and setting i believe, the left leg is getting their signature reiger cartridge instead of the air.

Rode last sunday with reiger shock and öhlins front but having 2 different brands of suspension was noticable.

Hopefully they can get around to get it done this week as i got a race sunday, would be nice to have some sort of forks 😅
