I'm sure I'm not the only one on here that could stare at a beautiful set of bumpsticks for hours on end, and I know a lot of you on here have kit suspension and likely some out there with some works stuff. So, lets see it! Modified stock stuff welcome as well (Coatings/ upgrades etc.)

MX-Tech DLC coated fork tubes and shock shaft with all the goodies. X-Trig adjuster and the extremely nice OEM KTM billet triples were sent to TCR Wheels where they were pressed apart stripped of black anodizing and colored up in KTM orange. Triples were way too nice to not use. No way are any others better to the point that I could tell the difference.

I agree on the clamps, for MX i have never felt the difference, on the tarmac, we have run 17,14and 11mm offset , and and 1 degree of trail less.. every one can be felt, we ended up with 14mm, and lower offset on the bottom, with a 16in front wheel. you cant tuck the front unless you do something proper silly.

I do like those preload adjusters , but we havent got one, we set the preload at our first test, and havent touched it since.

Meant to attach to my original post, but these are my forks off my previous build. Had the lowers Ti Ni coated, the lugs coated black, and decided to kashima some of the internal over the uppers. Uppers got a clear coat for protection instead.

I heard recently that Ti N is a less durable finish than Kashima and DLC. Can anyone confirm if that's true?

If you can only have 4 inches of travel it might as well be good travel . Race Tech billets with huge shafts and adjustable comp and rebound.

You don’t coat lower tubes in Kashima, so that comparison is pointless. But yes, the TiNi is a thinner coating that wears through much quicker than DLC, especially if you’re riding in sand or mud and don’t clean out your seals. The turquoise wears a little quicker than the gold. But DLC lasts a very long time.

not even the proper adjuster smh. that's the best part about the kit/works shocks is the adjuster with no locking ring

Lol, most of the other shocks on this thread have the locking ring. Go pick on them too while you’re at it. I bet you’re fun at parties...

Weather or not those trick coatings would make a difference for an average Joe like me, I absolutely love them and will have my bikes done some day
