If they can nail the physics this game will be off the charts.

It'll be available for PC and on Steam so you'll be able to play them with your old school joystick lol.

Graphics definitely took a step forward. Same game engine but they've had a lot of time to learn from it. Next game will be even better they said.

It's a mod for PC, if you look there's a lot of AMA riders in that video that was posted. So probably not a completely far comparison between MXGP3 and Supercross...but I've played A LOT of MXGP3 and yeah, Supercross looks MILES better in terms of graphics.

For what ever reason it looks like to me like the bike doesn't "turn" seems more like it just slides around the corners.

Just from what I'm seeing but i could be wrong.

Bumper cars in the air and streetbike style speeds. I mean hitting rhythm sections at 60 Laughing
I feel like with the engine capabilities that major game developers have they could make the best motocross game ever, imagine an EA Supercross 2018 with similar physics to the ball sport games. Rider and bike animations would surely be very fluent. Maybe if these games start to do well enough we'll see major dev's coming around again.

I agree. EA should make an MX game. They could probably make something good if they were to make realistic physics

Is there first person view in this game? I can't find one video with it.

if they have time. fix the riders in air form. straight legs not bent looks goony. video isn't helped by a player that keep it front end high.

I wish this had been added to the multi page post on Monster Energy Supercross. No need for another thread every time plus it's nice to keep all relevant info in one post.

Just bought MXGP3 last night (TM125 FTW). Hadn't played the series since the first one on PS3 and I am now legitimately excited for Supercross 2018.

Go take a look at the thread I started . I'm pretty sure there's clips in there that show the first person view. If not I've seen pictures from the first person view so it's definitely in the game.

EVen if you wont play it just buy it and support it. Only way the game can ever get better and grow is if we all support it

i’m a pretty big mx sim fam and i’ve only been playing for about 3 months. i only play about 3 hours a week and i’m pretty decent.

decent enough that i have fun riding and don’t fall all the time.

point being i do have a life and i still am decent at mxsim. sounds like you suck and are pretty salty about it.

If you had the code written already and all you needed to do was reskin the game and add some tracks to make a couple million bucks would you do it? It's a no brainer. Sure they might tweak a few things here and there but this game will likely be a cousin of MXGP 2 and 3.

I think Milestone pumped out MXGP3 and didn't treat it like a legitimate development cycle. Really, they ported a majority of the assets of MXGP2 into the new engine, added a handful of new ones, and made it look pretty. The gameplay was a step backwards in my opinion. I really believe that a lot of their efforts were focused on this SX game, and it'll show. The game looks just a lot more refined when compared to 'GP3 in just about every way- graphics, physics, atmosphere- but you can still see a lot of the same little flaws. I'm excited, and can't wait to see what they have in store.

You want EA to make a SX/MX game? F no, they may be able to make things pretty, but it is guaranteed to be beyond dumbd down and LOADED with micro transactions.

EA takes any game and shits on its customers. At least with smaller studios you get passion behind the game, not just a money grab.
