Well yeah, I thought Eli had the power to decide when / if to start racing - I expected him to call it a wrap.....for safety's sake.

I think Eli is the big winner here. With his baby girl coming in a few weeks, he will be able to enjoy the birth of his first child. He will also be able to spend time with her that wouldn't have been as much if he was focusing on his riding and training.

Eli - "Yeah..........I put a lot of thought into it, and I think we're good. We're going to call the SX series for safety's sake, then take a little "baby" break, then resume with the outdoor series as scheduled."

Did RC refer to Tomac as the series champ while introducing him? I'm trying not to read between the lines here, but what if the season ends as is... He also said, Kenny you had a great season... Why not, "You are having" ?

My days of sausage worship regarding Moto's top stars are long gone, but I did find it interesting some of the top racers have done little or no riding. And I agree with above statement, this break is a godsend for Tomac to enjoy, and participate, the birth of his Daughter.

Those were fun times, MC, Button, Deegan, Metzger, Brandes and others. That's how I met TFS, through Diane Cambron Jeffries who lived in Washington, go figure ?? Then I met MikeeeP through TFS. I miss Steve Bruhn !
