If you perform a google search you will see some articles making certain claims about what happened and whether he is alive or not....I hope it’s not true. Great surfer and he was into moto...prayers for Sunny

I’m hopeful that he’s ok & will pull thru this. This is a very tough day for him...
We lost Ox on this day in 2011.
He and Sunny were tight.
Very, very close friends.

Man , this is a real bummer to hear. I never had the chance to meet Sunny , but from the outside , he looked like he had a pretty awesome life. If it indeed was depression related , I wish him the best if he's still with us. You would think with a person like him , and being very well known , with family and so forth..... someone would of noticed something wrong? What ever the case , man I really hope he pulls through this and gets the help he needs.

Edit : I guess he's up here in Portland at a hospital some where. A report from one hour ago said he was in intensive care , but breathing on his own. Which is great news.

I was thinking the same and I'm guessing that he has not spoken enough about it to those close to him. He is breathing so there is hope.

He is going to pull though and he will receive the support he needs. This will make him stronger and healthier. That is who Sunny is.

Taking a break at work for a minute and saw this. Has anyone found out for sure if he's still with us? Man I really hope so. The guy has been a legend in my eyes for a very long time. Such a shame if he passes.
